hello little blog - i promise i haven't forgotton you! i was reading a fellow blogger's blog (thank you shannon!) and was reminded, hey, yeah, i haven't blogged in forever either!
well don't get your hopes up - this won't be long. i'm sooooo tired and about the crash for the evening. but to sum up the last few weeks - well, i've been sick! babysitting a bazillion random kids exposes one to all sorts of fun colds/flu/throat/sinus/fever issues - hurray me! i ended up sick as a dog on the side of the highway on our drive to north carolina... blah. but praise the lord for my super duper amazing hubby who held my hair for me and stopped every hour or so for sprite refills... he's now got what i had, poor thing :-( thanksgiving was, well interesting. we'll just leave it at at that. just imagine the MIL, new to us live in boyfriend and his 50+ family members who we don't know either oooh and add in there a side of my insane germaphobia and wierd food issues and yeah, it was oodles of fun :-P i will say though the boyfriend and his family were probably the most enjoyable part of the whole trip. very very nice people - the MIL - well, you know how in-laws can be!
so that's our life summed up pretty much. lots of babysitting. several job interviews - i pray something works out soon! and ooh, i finished harry potter- why oh why can't she just write more books?!? they were so good though and so much fun!
