short and sweet

well as usual, i've let way to much time go by since my last update... a short list of what's been going in our little world. and forgive me now for any typos and errors - it's late and i SHOULD be in bed!

tonight was our last bible study get together. we had a "captivating" evening at melting pot. it was so so yummy! does anything compare to a nice glass of wine and chocolate fondue, i don't think so! plus the hubby was miss j and mine (or is that my, or I? it's too late for proper english!) anyhow the hubby drove us downtown and dropped us off so we wouldn't have to deal with parking and it appeared to be a good thing, there were people and cars everywhere tonight!

this weekend is the shower for miss rice - i can't wait! i ordered the cake this week. michael teased (and miss rice, if you read this - ignore it!) that we would have our own personal cake wreck! - http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/ - . ugh, the guy who was helping me was a total spazz! but i called back today and went back over the details with a lovely helpful woman in the bakery and i know it will all turn out wonderfully!

tomorrow i'm a babysitting fool - i've got TWO jobs lined up. one day and one night. if it keeps up this way i'll have that extra money for my crown (tooth kind that is) saved up in no time.

next weekend we go camping - ahh! it'll be my first camping experience in quite some time. i'm sure it'll be fine - just still skived out by bugs. i am looking forward to making lots of s'mores and also my fist attempt at spiking a watermelon!

ok, i really have to go to bed now.

oh and ps - does anyone read twilight?? bub got me a copy and i'm hooked and i need a buddy to go see new moon with this fall... will anyone fess up to being a fan too?!?
