change of heart

so, i've decided that i can fuss and fume over the state of our little house OR i can get a major attitude change and stop whining. i chose the attitude change! after many wonderful words of encouragement from some amazing friends and family i'm starting to see that it really isn't that bad and we can't throw in the towel after only three months in the place. i KNOW things will get better, i know it. we've just got to tough it out a little longer. i do love our new little home. i love the paint color in the living room, i love the nice new deck bub built, i love our nice big kitchen and i love the wonderful breeze we always seem to enjoy when we open all the windows. it's a nice little house and i'm going to stop fussing and start loving it.

i can't write long, but a few highlights from our little world.

1. we had a blast seeing the midnight showing of harry potter and the half-blood prince! miss m throws a fabulous harry potter pre-party! though i was wiped out the next day at work, it was totally worth it :o)

2. we also enjoyed seeing Away We Go - a wonderful movie that i think everyone needs to see!

3. i've made a big life decision and finally sent in my nursing school application. i really hope things work out. it's going to be scary and a huge change, but if all goes well i'll be a full time student again in january - woot!


ok, the i better run. hope everyone is enjoying the amazing wonderful beautiful weather! who ever heard of it being in the 70's in nashville in july?!?
