things that make me laugh right now - the phrase, "lawyer-ing up"; late night with jimmy fallon's spoof called the real housewives of late night and some very stupid, but oh so funny to us inside jokes about mark consuelos (did you know he speaks italian, what?!?)
things that make me happy right now - getting christmas cards from friends and family; all the new bundles of joy that have arrived this last year or will arrive soon (none of them ours mind you!); our teeny, tiny christmas tree and making lots of fun festive sweets... oh and eating these amazing little oranges called "cuties" - amazing!
things that are making me a little stressed right now - my tooth is still not fixed - ugh! hopefully, REALLY hopefully i'll have things fixed tomorrow; money is stupidly tight these days and i wish so much i could buy gifts for everyone but we can't really do anything for anyone this holiday season and it makes my heart sad; and the thought of leaving olive for 6 or 7 days while we travel around for the holidays. i'm sure she'll be fine but we can't find anyone to check in on her and she's our baby :-(
i had my first success story with rolled sugar cookies this week - they turned out wonderfully! gotta love googling "best rolled sugar cookie recipe" and making whatever it tells me to do!
