well here we are - election day is upon us! i hope everyone voted! bub and i cast our votes a couple of weeks ago so now we just get to sit back and watch what happens... i'm a nerd and will be hanging out with some lovely lady friends tonight, watching the results. i voted for one guy, but i sort of hope the other wins... i can't believe i'm saying that!
and as week three of the unemployment begins, all i have to say is - seriously universe, i NEED a job! ok - that's all there is to say about that. the state of tn has lousy unemployment benefits and i'm sick of getting no response from the one billion resumes i've sent out and i'm tired of having all this time off, but zero money to go out and do anything and loads of guilt about my sweet hubby working his two jobs most happily while his bum of a wife free loads off of him... i NEED a job - today! ok, that's it, really.
i cleaned the bathroom like a maniac today. i pulled literally everything out of it, washed everything down and have sort of put it back. we had this little over the toilet shelf thingy that was OLD, i've had it since college and it was starting to look yucky, so i pulled it out and painted it a most lovely shade of blue. however since it's not real wood, the paint sort of didn't go on right, but it sort of looks antiquey now - so we'll go with it... it's better than dirty dusty white!
well, i'm off to get ready for election night... if anyone thinks of it, we would most definently appreciate prayer for the job situation - we're really not in a place financially for me to be a stay at home lady just yet and i need a job. ok, really, i'm stopping now.
