adventures of a stay at home lady
i always used to joke that all i wanted to do with my life was be a stay at home lady... to cook and clean and go to yoga classes and trill around like a pretty little wife... yeah, today my stay at home lady (soon to be mommy) reality is slapping me in the face. after lots of discussion and thought, we decided that it was time for me to quit working. did it make financial sense??? ummm, not so much. but given my family history of pre-term babes and how physical my job was and how worn out i was getting every day, we thought while it doesn't make much sense financially for me to quit six weeks before our little girl is due to arrive, it made sense for her health and mine. so yesterday was my very last day of work. this is the first time since i've been about 19 that i'm not actively seeking employment or in school full time... no, i'm just home. and it's scary. like for real, not kidding, how the heck is this all going to work out scary. i plan to use my free time to really figure out how couponing works. so many women i know save so much money and eat healthy using coupons. i've tried to make it work, haven't quite got the hang of it yet, but i have lots of time to figure it all now... i'm also hoping to find some way to make a little money here and there. any great ideas??? something a huge, waddling, tired preggo women can still do??? i want to stay busy. i don't want to just spend my days watching bad daytime tv... i need to stay busy. i have some good time to get this house nice and clean before baby girl arrives. so i guess i'll start there. it's all going to work out, right? ok, don't answer that unless you know for absolute sure that we didn't just make the biggest mistake ever dooming us to a life of poverty and hamburger helper.

You will make it work! When you get tired of Hamburger Helper, try Tuna Helper! Hang in there, kid... these next six weeks will FLY by!
